June 13, 2012 at 9:45 am #478PortilisMemberI’d be quite keen to join in on this as Lladislav (who is on a sorc life atm), but won’t have a chance until next week due to exams and a busy weekend…
June 14, 2012 at 6:01 am #487CaTMemberBragging is nice Ludo, question is when you are going to teach us how to run it? You two are experts but I have no idea what is going on there 😀
June 14, 2012 at 8:49 am #490IspepxamMemberI’m interested in running challenges at lvl16 with my monk toon. I’ll look out for others in game.
In addition I could do with some help to run Epic challenges – I have a few lvl20 tier 1 items that would be nice to upgrade 🙂
Cheers, Ispep – JimmyJune 14, 2012 at 10:08 am #491LudovikMemberHeh… As I hope you know it wasnt meant as bragging… 🙂 And I dont know if we are experts, but we have done a lot of challenges and that usually helps…
I can only recommend that you start running them… 😀
A reasonably selfhealing toon with reasonable dps can complete all the challenges alone… Wont get high yield and rarely many stars, but its the greatest way to get to know them all…
I used Contrapasso the fvs, but clerics, light monks, rangers, paladins, all arcanes (with good sp-management), some bards and a ton of different multiclassers can do it…
If objective is stars/first time xp Id recommend setting up a party through the site here… 3-4 people is a good size for maximizing gain in almost all the challenges… 6 people is often to many since high yield often requires spreading out which makes groups of mobs to big vs time for people running alone…
Access to DD also helps… 🙂

June 14, 2012 at 7:25 pm #496CaTMemberYou know I am teasing you Ludo, though if you need an extra hand let me know. My characters are generally built to be self sufficient (don’t laugh Jan 😛 ) and now I am spread at level 4, 8, 17/18, and 20×2.
Thanks for the tips regarding running challenges 😉 In theory the rules are the same for all quests though practice is something entirely different and I soloed a bit of quests (including some challenges) myself. Learning is faster when you have expert guidance for sure 🙂
