All the posts I’m going to make in that thread will be full of spoilers.

Huge Spoiler Alert !!!!

For those that are in PnP and that have played Ravenloft in any of it’s incarnation, it must have jumped like it jumped at my face :

The Ravenloft Castle Map is a copy of the PnP module Castle.

So I went and checked with the latest incarnation, namely the D&D 5th Ed Curse of Stradh book, and lo behold it’s not just Castle Ravenloft that is a copy, every quest in the Ravenloft Extension is an exact ( sometime adapted but still technically exact) copy of the quests found in the book.

I know the maps from the game are going to end up in the wiki, but the PnP ones are in perspective for Ravenloft Castle, so it’s easier to see how the levels connects with each other.

Now for some real spoilers.

From what I’ve seen the Tarroka cards from Madam Eva are the same ones as in the book. There’s an exception though, the Ally is not something from the PnP adventure. ( she’s a random encounter )
The way to exit the castle is also something not in the PnP adventure.
( The dragons if you exit through the main door are though, be warned )

I’ll need more runs to be able to confirm it fully.

– Treasure in the Chapel [K15] ( behind the Altar )
You need to go through Level 2 to reach the Chapel.
– Treasure in the North Tower Peak [K60] ( in the chest )
You need to go through the Brazier [K78] at Level -2
– Death in the Hall of Bones [K67]
